Livia Cruz da Costa

Livia works at WateAid Timor-Leste as Program Effectiveness and Advocacy Manager. She has several years of experience working at WaterAid, starting in 2014 as a Sanitation Officer.

In 2016 she moved up one level to Specialist for WASH and GEDSI and in 2018 she held a position as program manager. She has been working with several INGOs before WaterAid.

Upasana Yadav

Upasana has been associated with CWAS since 2014. She has extensive experience in WASH and urban development sector. She leads CWAS’s work in implementation of city sanitation plans, WASH improvement planning tools and innovative financing mechanisms like development impact bonds and blended finance mechanism. She also has experience in water security, performance assessment systems, public finance and business models. She has a Masters in Planning (Housing) from CEPT University, Ahmedabad and a Bachelors in Civil Engineering from MS University, Vadodara.

Tim Davis

Tim is a WASH specialist focused on supporting the provision of sustainable water, sanitation and hygiene services in the Asia and Pacific region. As WaterAid Australia’s technical lead for planning and monitoring, he supports national and subnational governments to strengthen their approaches, methods and systems for WASH planning, monitoring, finance and governance.

Charlotte MacAlister

Charlotte is a Senior Researcher leading the United Nations University Institute for Water, Environment and Health program on Water Security. She has over 20 years of experience in Research for Development in the Water Sector in Sub-Saharan Africa, South and South-East Asia, and the Caribbean.

She holds a PhD in Hydrology and MSc in Irrigation from Newcastle University, UK. She has worked as a Research Scientist and Manager for the Mekong River Commission, UNDP, IWMI, and World Wide Fund For Nature and as a donor representative for the International Development Research Centre.

Kunal Walia

Kunal Walia is a Partner in New Delhi and works across essential issues related to financial inclusion, investing for development, and technology for good. Kunal has over 15 years of experience advising commercial and impact investors, philanthropies, the private sector, and NGOs across these issues. He has been working closely with ADB over the last 5 years to identify opportunities within India's WASH sector.
