Nicola Armacost is the Managing Director of Arc Finance whose mission is to link the fields of finance, energy, water, and sanitation. Arc’s financial institution partners have provided access to clean energy for over 4.5 million people in a range of countries including Afghanistan, India, Nepal, Pakistan, the Philippines, Kenya, Uganda, Ghana, Nicaragua, and Haiti. Arc’s partners offer financing for distributed solar, roof-top solar, e-vehicles and a range of other uses as well as micro and mini-grids.

Nicholas Wagner is a Programme Officer at the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) located at IRENA’s Innovation and Technology Centre in Bonn, Germany. He is part of the REmap team – IRENA’s renewable energy roadmaps - which focuses on global, regional and country analysis and energy transition roadmaps. REmap focuses on energy system analysis to the year 2050 and works in concert with over 70 countries to determine the potential of accelerating renewable energy, energy efficiency and other low-carbon technologies and their impacts on the energy transition.

Nathalie is the Co-founder and Director of Mandalay Yoma Energy (MYE), a Myanmar-based company which is a Joint Venture between ENGIE, the world’s largest private IPP, and Sol Partners Pte Ltd. (Singapore), focusing on rapid electrification of Myanmar via decentralized renewable solutions. The company enables access to energy programs for rural Myanmar through solar mini-grids and also develops rooftop Commercial & Industrial solar plants to enable MNCs and SMEs to reduce their reliance on heavily-polluting Diesel and create clean energy savings.

Adzha is a solar engineer, with a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Electronic Engineering from the Universiti Malaysia Perlis. He also certified as a grid-connected photovoltaic system designer. Before joining SEDA, he served as a senior engineer at a solar PV developer company, Cypark Resources Berhad and as a Technical Manager at a solar PV EPCC company in Malaysia.

Since 2001, Michael has worked in the environmental field developing industry leading technology that increases petroleum efficiency, reduces emissions, and optimizes utilization of oil field resources. Michael has directed operations for international corporations where he established worldwide distribution, developed supply chains, opened new locations, coordinated with government agencies, and managed multiple patents in 70 countries utilized by three different companies. More recently he has been working with the HeliosAltas team to create the most reliable renewable energy systems.

Mike Ashford is Director of Chemonics International’s Water, Energy and Sustainable Cities Practice headquartered in Washington, DC. He is an energy and water infrastructure professional with over 20 years’ experience in project development and program management. His current work focuses on the financial sustainability of infrastructure development and utility services in water and energy on behalf of donor agencies.

Mathieu is Head of Asia Business Development at HDF Energy, a French Independent Power Producer dedicated to the generation of clean and firm high power. Mathieu has over 10 years of experience in Renewable Energy through various positions within IPP, EPC and key supplier companies. Prior to joining HDF Energy in 2018, Mathieu managed the development of the Moroccan and South-Europe subsidiaries of a French developer and EPC. Mathieu was also a Business Development Manager at ArcelorMittal Exosun.

After starting out in corporate finance, Mark Lister specialized in energy efficiency (EE) almost 20 years ago and has become a leading advocate for expanded EE deployment. He has been involved with industry advocacy in Australia, worked on grassroots projects in sub-Saharan Africa, and lectured in postgraduate sustainable energy courses.

Selected in 2013 as the Power Woman of the Year, Tetchi is a pioneer in renewable energy in the Philippines. In 2006, she began her career in renewable energy as Country Director for the US-government funded rural electrification project, where her work energized 500 villages using solar home systems and micro-hydropower systems. Immediately after the implementing rules of the Renewable Energy Law became effective, she joined MEMC-SunEdison in 2011 as Country Advisor for the Philippines.

Malin Ostman is responsible for Wärtsilä Energy Business project development of Energy storage, clean energy, and hybrid projects in Asia. Malin has been working with project development for Wärtsilä since 2013 and has worked with hybrid projects (combinations of renewable energy, energy storage and thermal) since 2014. Prior to joining Wärtsilä, she worked as a management consultant for BCG. Malin Ostman has an MSc. Degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Aalto University, Finland.
