Knowledge Partnership Dialogue: Center of Excellence for Clean Energy

Indonesia's ambitious economic growth aspirations are dependent, among other things, on its ability to expand access to reliable and clean sources of energy, for all its citizens. The Center of Excellence on Clean Energy, to be established by Indonesia's Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, is envisioned to help push this agenda forward.

Asian Development Outlook 2023 and Addressing Sri Lanka's Economic Crisis

Serendipity Knowledge Program (SKOP) is an ADB platform dedicated to identifying knowledge solutions for Sri Lanka’s development challenges. Serendib is one of Sri Lanka’s ancient names and serendipity refers to a fortunate finding, which is a common occurrence throughout the history of product invention and scientific discovery. ADB established this new knowledge program in 2021 in line with its vision as a knowledge solutions bank.

Indranee Thurai Rajah

She was educated at Raffles Institution in Singapore, and read law at the National University of Singapore. She was admitted to the Singapore Bar in 1987 and began practice with Freshfields as a legal associate. In 1988, she joined the Litigation Department of Drew & Napier. She was appointed Senior Counsel in 2003 and was the Deputy Head of Drew & Napier’s Dispute Resolution Department until October 2012, when she left to join the government. Her practice as a dispute resolution lawyer included cross-border commercial disputes and international arbitration.

Yuriko Koike

Yuriko Koike is a Japanese politician who currently serves as the Governor of Tokyo. She graduated from the American University in Cairo (B.A. in Sociology) as the top student in 1976 and was a member of the House of Representatives of Japan from 1993 until 2016 when she resigned to run in the Tokyo gubernatorial election. She also previously served as the Minister of Defense in the first cabinet of Prime Minister Shinzō Abe but resigned in August 2007 after only 54 days in office.

Alisa DiCaprio

Dr. Alisa DiCaprio is the Chief Economist at R3 in New York City. In this role she oversees R3’s research and market intelligence functions. This includes providing economic advice on developments in digital assets, CBDC, trade and payments as well as contributing to R3 interactions with the public sector.

Bansari Saha

Dr. Bansari Saha, a Senior Director at ICF, is an economist by training and supports public and private sector clients understand the economic effects of public policy decision-making. His expertise lies in the intersection of energy and environmental issues and studying the economic and distributional impacts of policies that attempt to find an optimal balance between the two. Dr. Saha has worked extensively on international economic development issues, particularly for developing countries in South and Southeast Asia.
