His interests include global health, health systems, health financing, health service delivery, health reform, policy impact evaluations, NCD prevention and control, built environment, and geospatial analysis. Before City, he was a researcher at Imperial College London. He worked on a project aimed approaches to reduce the burden of diabetes and CVDs in South Asia. Before that, he was a researcher at Harvard University.
