Samantha Hung

Samantha Hung provides leadership for advancing gender equality across all aspects of ADB operations and knowledge work. She has over 20 years of experience in gender equality at project, program and policy levels in the Asia Pacific. Before ADB, she held various gender advisor and specialist roles for the New Zealand Agency for International Development, Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat, UNICEF, Australian Government Office on the Status of Women and UK Institute of Development Studies attached to the University of Sussex.

Keiko Nowacka

Keiko Nowacka is a Senior Social Development Specialist (Gender and Development) in the Sustainable Development and Climate Change Department at the Asian Development Bank. In this role she focuses, in particular, on women’s entrepreneurship and promoting the ADB’s gender mainstreaming mandate, including the gender transformative agenda in line with Strategy 2030’s Operational Priority 2.

Michaela Bergman

A social anthropologist, working as a social specialist in the ESG field with over 20 years’ experience of working with a variety of Multi-lateral, financial Institutions, bilaterals, the Private Sector and civil society.

Michaela Bergman's expertise and experience lies in both in policy and project related activities related to Gender, poverty alleviation, protection and empowerment of vulnerable groups, human rights and labour with diverse and varied stakeholders so as to achieve a common goal.
