Martino Pelli

Martino Pelli is an applied economist with expertise in environmental, energy, and development economics. His work focuses on the impact of rural energy use, significant transport infrastructure investments, and the economic consequences of natural disasters. His research has been published in journals such as the Journal of Development Economics, International Economics, and the European Economic Review. Before joining ADB, he was an associate professor of Economics at the University of Sherbrooke in Canada.

Daniel Wiedmer

Mr. Wiedmer is a finance professional with 20 years of experience in climate finance in emerging markets in Asia and Africa. As Director of the Private Sector Infrastructure Division 2, he leads ADB's infrastructure finance team responsible for Southeast Asia, East Asia, and the Pacific Islands. His core competencies include managing corporate and project finance transactions in renewable energy, electric mobility, circular economy recycling, conventional power, waste-to-energy, telecom and water treatment, as well as donor-funded blended finance and technical assistance programs.

Deepak Taneja

Deepak Taneja manages capacity building and borrower outreach programs in the area of ADB’s financial products, sovereign debt management and FX reserves management. He also handles major currencies hedging transactions for borrowers. He has over 35 years of experience in the field of treasury, fixed income, derivatives, risk management, and information technology and has worked in Asia Pacific region at various levels with Citibank, Standard Chartered Bank, Bloomberg, Reuters, and Microsoft.

Vivencio Dizon

Vivencio Dizon is the current Presidential Adviser on Flagship Programs and Projects, and the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA).

Prior to holding the executive positions in BCDA, he was a Consultant of then Senate Majority Leader Alan Peter Cayetano; Undersecretary for Political Affairs of the Office of the President of the Republic of the Philippines; and Chief of Staff of the Office of Senator Edgardo Angara.

Sumika Nakane

Sumika Nakane has been with Infrastructure Finance Division 1, Private Sector Operations Department (PSOD) of ADB since 2016, primarily engaged in nonsovereign finance for infrastructure projects in various sectors in South Asia and Central West Asia. She has processed various clean energy projects, including SAEL Biomass Energy Project in India, a solar PV project in India, a hydropower project in Nepal, a solar power project in Afghanistan, and energy efficiency projects in India and Kazakhstan.
