Deepak focusses on data-driven policy research on Energy Efficiency, ESCO and EE financing and market enablement for ESCO. At AEEE he is actively involved in creating business models for the growth of the ESCO industry and bridging the gap between ESCO and the end users by facilitating dialogues and conducting workshops/seminars for creating awareness on Energy Efficiency retrofits.

New Certified Energy Savings Verifier (CESV) Professional Certification

This presentation outlined the long-standing barriers to energy efficiency, including the barriers to facility owners, and identified some solutions to the global measurement and verification (M&V) gap. It also discussed the work of the Efficiency Valuation Organization, as well as the purpose and benefits of its Certified Energy Savings Verifier training and certification program.

Reem Hamdan

Eng. Reem Hamdan has 23 years of experience in the electricity sector in Jordan, 17 of which have been with the Electricity Distribution Company (EDCO). Her experience has focused on electricity distribution planning, performance standards, energy efficiency, renewable energy, licensing, and regulation. Eng. Reem was appointed Deputy Director General in July 2015. For the previous six years, Hamdan served as the Director General Assistant for Regulation and Planning at EDCO. She has been a member of the Planning Committee in the Arab Union of Electricity (AUE) since 2004.

Gajanana Hegde

Gajanana Hegde leads the regulatory development (energy) team to develop standards to measure the outcomes of climate actions within the sustainable development mechanism (SDM) program of the UNFCCC Secretariat in Bonn. He has over two decades of professional experience in climate change, renewable energy, energy efficiency, and waste management. He has contributed to the development of over one hundred methodologies applied in several thousand projects and programs hosted in over one hundred countries under the Clean Development Mechanism.
