Soleil Mom Chantara

Soleil joined ADB in 2019 and is responsible for strategic communications, external relations, media liaison, branding, and knowledge sharing. Before joining ADB, he was a coordinator for the USAID media project and worked as a communications manager with Plan International from 2007 to 2018. His previous experience includes work as a communications officer, production officer, and reporter for the Development and Partnership in Action, Solaris International Corporation, and Phnom Penh Post.

Herlyn Alegre

Herlyn Alegre joined ADBI as a capacity-building and training associate in February 2021.

Her research interests include participatory development, communication for development, and public health.

Prior to joining ADBI, she worked as a researcher at the Philippine House of Representatives and Waseda University.

She is a PhD candidate at Waseda University specializing in applied theater and HIV/AIDS communications.

Albert Dean Atkinson

Albert Dean Atkinson is the Former Director of ADB’s Knowledge Support Division in the Department of Communications. Atkinson has been in ADB for more than 15 years, working across the knowledge, library sciences, and human resource domains.

His background and academic training are in Agriculture, Education, Psychology and Administration. Prior to ADB, worked at the International Rice Research Institute, Hewlett-Packard, General Electric Medical Systems, and several private and public schools as a teacher, principal, and superintendent.

Laura Williamson

Laura Williamson is responsible for directing outreach and communication activities at REN21. Laura’s other activities include strategic development and coordination of the biennial International Renewable Energy Conference. From 2008 to 2013, Laura was the Project Director for HELIO International, an international think tank developing renewable energy solutions. Previously, she was a Programme Manager with the United Nations Environment Programme, leading on industry and sustainability issues.
