Annadel Cabanban

Dr. Annadel Salvio Cabanban is the Head of Office of Wetlands International Philippines and Program Manager for To Plant or Not to Plant and Building with Nature Initiative Asia – Philippines. She is trained as a Marine Biologist at the University of the Philippines, Quezon City, and at James Cook University, Townsville City (Australia).

Saroj Yakami

Saroj Yakami has worked over the past 10 years in water resource management covering water resources, agriculture, irrigation, and water harvesting. He has been involved as Country Manager in Nepal working on (i) water security, climate change, and community resilience; (ii) road water management and resilience; (iii) inclusion of people with disabilities in agriculture water management. He has been actively engaged in the development of the guidelines for Protecting and Developing Springs in local road development in hill and mountain areas of Nepal.

Nature-based solutions are driving a global transformation from traditional grey infrastructure to functional and more cost-effective green and blue solutions that can better cope and adapt when faced with climate and disaster risks. This interactive session brought together experts and practitioners to discuss case studies and opportunities to scale up nature-based solutions for resilient infrastructure.

Masyita Crystallin

Masyita Crystallin is currently serving as a Special Advisor to the Minister of the Finance Republic of Indonesia on Macroeconomic and Fiscal Policy, with diverse experience prior to joining the Finance Ministry. She is the Sherpa for the Coalition of Finance Ministers for Climate Action where the Indonesia’s Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati serves as co-chair together with Finance Minister of Finland and Indonesia Investment Authority’s spokesperson. At University of Indonesia, she serves as a Senior Researcher at the Demographic Institute.

Andini Effendi

Andini Effendi is an Independent journalist & a documentarian. She holds a Master's degree in Global Affairs at New York University, concentrating in peacemaking and peacebuilding. Ms. Effendi won Best Current Affairs Presenter at the Asian Television Awards 2019 and 2020. She is also the recipient of the Elizabeth O’Neil journalism award from the Australian government.
