Mel Eden

Mel Eden is a civil engineer and transport researcher based in the Philippines. He works as a data analyst at the Asian Transport Outlook (ATO) project, an initiative between the Asian Development Bank and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank aimed at expanding the knowledge base of transport in the Asia and Pacific region. His main responsibilities involve playing a key role in the development of the ATO National Database, crafting knowledge products, and conducting policy analyses for 51 countries within the Asia-Pacific region. 

Jay Slowik

Dr. Jay Slowik is a senior scientist in the Laboratory of Atmospheric Chemistry at the Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI) in Switzerland. His research focuses on the atmospheric sources and processes governing air pollution, including the development of novel instrumentation for organic aerosol analysis, aerosol and gas source apportionment, and laboratory investigations of the emissions and aging of real-world sources. Before joining PSI, he received a Ph.D.

Jianzhi Zhao

Zhao Jianzhi is the Deputy Director of the Department of Atmospheric Ecology at the Shanghai Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment. He holds a PhD degree Environmental Engineering. His primary responsibility revolves around the prevention and control of various forms of pollution in Shanghai, encompassing air pollution, as well as addressing issues related to noise, light, and fossil energy pollution. He plays a crucial role in developing and implementing policies, regulations, and strategies to address the adverse environmental impacts associated with these areas.
