Sarath Guttikunda

Dr. Sarath Guttikunda is the Founder/Director of UrbanEmissions, an adjunct professor at the Indian Institute of Technology (Delhi, India) and recipient of the International Award by the American Geophysical Union (AGU) in 2022, given annually in recognition of furthering the earth and space sciences for the benefit of society in developing nations. He conducts research in an independent capacity to support science and public-policy dialogue on air pollution in India and cities across Asia, Africa, and Latin America. He received his Bachelors in Chemical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (Kharagpur, India, 1997) and PhD from the University of Iowa (Iowa City, USA, 2002).
