Winnie Lewis

Winnie Lewis heads the Disability Inclusion team at SG Enable that provides advisory and consultancy support to organizations keen to employ persons with disabilities. The employer consultants on the team work closely with employers to integrate persons with disabilities at the workplace, supporting their disability inclusion journey with the aim of attaining the Enabling Mark, a national-level accreditation framework by SG Enable that benchmarks and recognizes organizations for their best practices and outcomes in disability-inclusive employment.

Lan Mercado

Lan Mercado is the Regional Director for Oxfam in Asia.

Lan is an activist and development worker, with over 30 years of experience working with civil society coalitions, environmental movements, and international women's rights organizations. Since 1999, she’s been with Oxfam, starting as a project officer working directly with women and men supported by Oxfam before gradually progressing to senior leadership. Today, she leads Oxfam in Asia.

Health is an area where youth-led activities have the potential to significantly affect outcomes for young people, and in turn, have whole life-cycle implications. For instance, in the area of diet, harmful habits (drugs/alcohol), and exercise, positive behavior change can reduce non-communicable diseases stretching into adulthood. In addition, the pandemic has shown that decisions taken to avert one health crisis can have significant effects on other health outcomes, especially on young people.
