ADB Participation at the Global Plastics Treaty Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee Session (INC-5.2)

Countries worldwide, from 5 to 14 August 2025, are gathering in Geneva, Switzerland for the second part of the fifth Global Plastics Treaty (GPT) Intergovernmental Negotiating Committee Session, also known as INC-5.2. This is a continuation of the INC-5 session held in November 2024 in Busan, Republic of Korea, which was then targeted as the conclusion of the negotiations.

Her areas of expertise include ocean governance, marine litter knowledge management, and fostering regional and global cooperation to address marine plastic pollution.
