Veronica Ern Hui Wee

Veronica Ern Hui Wee joined the Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI) as a Capacity Building and Training Associate in January 2021.

Her research interests include climate change-related migration, renewable energy policy, and environmental and social standards in infrastructure development.

She is a master of public policy candidate at the University of Tokyo’s Graduate School of Public Policy and holds a bachelor of laws from King’s College London.

Herlyn Alegre

Herlyn Alegre joined ADBI as a capacity-building and training associate in February 2021.

Her research interests include participatory development, communication for development, and public health.

Prior to joining ADBI, she worked as a researcher at the Philippine House of Representatives and Waseda University.

She is a PhD candidate at Waseda University specializing in applied theater and HIV/AIDS communications.

Roshan Shrestha

Dr. Roshan Shrestha is the Deputy Director, Global Growth and Opportunity Division, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WSH) team of Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. He also led the Urban Sanitation Market Initiative of the WSH that deals with scaling City Wide Inclusive Sanitation and Non-sewered Sanitation globally through demonstration, capacity building, advocacy as well as mobilizing resources from development banks and development partners.

Ashish Dhawan

Ashish Dhawan is one of India’s leading philanthropists and a key voice for system reform in the country. Ashish is the Founder and CEO of Central Square Foundation (CSF) with the mission to improve the quality of school education for all students (especially from low-income communities) through the pursuit of evidence driven and innovation led system reform.

Heather Canon

Ms. Heather Canon leads ELEVATE’s Capacity Building team from the company’s Hong Kong headquarters. In this role, Heather directs four business lines: Worker Engagement, Factory Services, eLearning and MCSR (Program Support) services.
