Asian Development Outlook 2023 and Addressing Sri Lanka's Economic Crisis

Serendipity Knowledge Program (SKOP) is an ADB platform dedicated to identifying knowledge solutions for Sri Lanka’s development challenges. Serendib is one of Sri Lanka’s ancient names and serendipity refers to a fortunate finding, which is a common occurrence throughout the history of product invention and scientific discovery. ADB established this new knowledge program in 2021 in line with its vision as a knowledge solutions bank.

Mischa Lentz

Dr. Mischa Lentz is an Investment Specialist in PSIS and a dedicated fund manager for the Canadian Climate Fund as well as the ADF Private Sector Window. Dr. Lentz has over 12 banking and financeyears of banking and finance experience in developing countries. Prior to joining ADB, he spent 7 years with EBRD, with roles in Infrastructure and Project & Corporate Finance.

Tharith Panpiemras

Tharith Panpiemras is Senior Director in Banking Supervision and Risk Assessment Department of the Bank of Thailand. Prior to his current position, he also served as Senior Director, Financial Institutions Development Fund (FIDF) and Director of Corporate Planning Department and Office Corporate Strategy at the Bank of Thailand. He also had experiences in financial risk management and portfolio investment.

Before joining the Bank of Thailand, he also worked at Industrial Finance Corporation of Thailand (IFCT).
