Aman Trana

Ms. Aman Trana is the Director of the Public Financial Management Division of the Asian Development Bank’s Procurement, Portfolio and Financial Management Department (PPFD). She has more than 25 years of professional experience in financial management, financial reporting, auditing, and governance. Prior to joining ADB, Ms. Trana was a Senior Financial Governance Specialist with the IMF, and also worked with the World Bank as a Senior Public Financial Management Specialist.

Ricardo Carlos Barba

Ricardo Barba is a Principal Safeguards Specialist for ADB’s South Asia Department. He has been with ADB since 1996, initially as a consultant and then as safeguards specialist based in headquarters and the Cambodia Resident Mission. In addition to safeguards, Mr. Barba’s assignments included processing and implementing ADB’s urban projects in Bhutan, Maldives, and Sri Lanka. 

At present, he leads safeguards implementation for the South Asia Department. Ricky has also processed and implemented urban development and housing projects in Bhutan, India, Maldives, and Sri Lanka.

Manoj Silwal

Manoj Silwal is the Deputy Managing Director of the Nepal Electricity Authority, which is the focal agency of the government of Nepal for planning and developing energy projects. He leads the Project Management Directorate that manages ADB-supported projects. He holds a master of science degree in power system engineering from the Institute of Engineering in Nepal and a bachelor of science in electrical and electronic engineering from the Kathmandu University.

Sophea Mar

Sophea has been with ADB in various capacities since 2003. Prior to his current role, he was the national program manager and chief technical advisor for the International Labour Organization (ILO) in Cambodia and Bangladesh. He holds a master’s degree in business administration specializing in human resource management from Charles Sturt University.
