Genevieve Mary O'Farrell

Genevieve O’Farrell has close to 20 years of experience working on environmental assessment and management of development projects, sustainability appraisal, climate risk management, capacity building, and delivery of country-orientated solutions for diverse clients across a range of sectors.  She has worked for ADB for 8 years.  Genevieve joined ADB Cambodia Resident Mission (CARM) at the end of 2016. She manages the CARM Gender and Safeguards Team and is responsible for environmental safeguards for Cambodia and Lao PDR portfolios.

Athifa is an experienced Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) expert with over 18 years of professional experience in the development landscape of the Maldives. Currently, she works with ADB’s, South Asia Department, as a GESI consultant for the Maldives. She has provided technical assistance in designing, implementing, and monitoring Renewable Energy Projects in the Maldives.

Deepa Ahluwalia

Deepa Ahluwalia is the Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) focal point at the ADB India Resident Mission. She is involved in the coordination, management, and operations of projects and programs for effective implementation of gender/GESI mainstreaming strategies in ADB operations in India for accelerating progress in gender equality. She has an MPhil and PhD in social sciences from the Centre for the Study of Regional Development, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi.

Integrity Learning Series: Anticorruption and Integrity Training for Cambodian Executing and Implementing Agencies

On 26 April 2024, 19 participants from Cambodia executing and implementing agencies for the proposed Strengthening Country Systems for Prevention and Response to Gender-Based Violence project learned about integrity due diligence and identifying integrity risks and red flags at a hybrid OAI briefing. OAI provides training tailored for participants exercising oversight functions and project responsibility under RETA 9703's Integrity Learning Series.

Samina Sabir

Samina Sabir, currently serving at ADB, Pakistan Resident Mission as a gender officer, holds a master’s degree in Community Development with a major in Gender in Asian Societies from Murdoch University Australia.  She brings along over 14 years experience of working around Gender and Development and women’s empowerment-related issues in different parts of Pakistan.
