Samina Sabir, currently serving at ADB, Pakistan Resident Mission as a gender officer, holds a master’s degree in Community Development with a major in Gender in Asian Societies from Murdoch University Australia.  She brings along over 14 years experience of working around Gender and Development and women’s empowerment-related issues in different parts of Pakistan. Starting her career with grassroots community level women's organizations in the northern areas of Pakistan she has served with different NGOs/INGOs such as Aga Khan Rural Support Program, Sarhad Rural Support Program and KP government District Governance Program, International Rescue Committee (IRC) since then in different capacities.
