This webinar will inaugurate the new ADBI Voices of Inclusion Speaker Series, aimed at promoting gender inclusion in Asia and the Pacific through knowledge and experience-sharing by influential thinkers. It will feature Chantale Wong, who was recently appointed as the United States Executive Director to the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

2nd Annual ADBI Forum on Expanding Women’s Participation in the Asian Economy: Promoting Equitable Opportunities for Women in Agriculture

This year’s forum explored how advancing equal participation in agriculture can unlock women’s potential to boost agricultural production, food security, and sustainable development. Key stakeholders and experts from international organizations and academia identified policy recommendations for empowering women to participate in agriculture on a level playing field, with equitable opportunities for decent work and livelihoods.
