ADB Distinguished Speakers Program Series
Since 1982, the Asian Development Bank has organized the Distinguished Speakers Program, inviting eminent scholars and policy practitioners from around the world to speak on development issues that are of special relevance to Asia. The Distinguished Speakers Program has played an instrumental role in allowing ADB to keep abreast of cutting-edge development issues and comprises a high-profile public lecture. Since its inception, 54 distinguished scholars and policy practitioners have participated in the program, including Jagdish Bhagwati, Lawrence Klein, Anne Krueger, Raghuram Rajan, Dani Rodrik, Jeffrey Sachs, Amartya Sen, Manmohan Singh, Joseph Stiglitz, Justin Yifu Lin, Barry Eichengreen, Robert Merton, Paul Romer, and Takatoshi Ito.
