Sustainable Protein Case Study: Outputs and Synthesis of Results
28 to 30 June 2021

In consideration of ADB’s relevant investments in the next three to five years, the CGIAR Research Program on Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security (CCAFS) experts and other partners shared the guidance they have developed on sustainable livestock and analysis on the sector's sustainability through four cases in PRC, Indonesia, Uzbekistan through a workshop organized by the Rural Development and Food Security (Agriculture) Thematic Group.

The workshop discussed sustainable livestock principles and best practices, and the plant-based meat industry and its sustainability, nutrition and food safety, regulation, and potential to generate business for smallholder farmers.
