Capacity Building Workshop for Pakistan Railways Official on ADB Processes and Procedures
7 to 9 October 2025

Lahore, Pakistan

ADB’s Transport Sector Group and the PRM’s Capacity Development Resource Center (CDRC), conducted a two-day training program for Pakistan Railways staff on 7–8 October 2025 in Lahore, Pakistan. The training, inaugurated by Seunghyun Kim, ADB’s Senior Transport Specialist, was delivered in a hybrid format, with 43 participants - 25 attending in person and 18 joining online - from various PR departments. ADB headquarters and national staff led sessions covering key thematic areas, including project cycle, environmental and social safeguards, procurement, gender, climate change, anticorruption and integrity, and financial management. This initiative aimed to familiarize participants with ADB’s processes, and procedures, equipping them to collaborate effectively with ADB and other international development partners as Pakistan Railways embarks on future projects.
