Zhentu Liu, senior procurement specialist, has been working in the World Bank on procurement for more than 15 years, in the field offices in Beijing, Jakarta and Bangkok. Before joining the World Bank, he worked for the Chinese government.

Tanvir Hossain is currently the Sr. Procurement Specialist  is the Procurement Team Leader of the World Bank for the Western Balkans countries, Romania and Turkey.  He has over 26 years of successful experience in various challenging procurement environments, both in development organizations and the private sector.

Sudipto Sarkar is the World Bank’s Water Practice Manager for East Asia and the Pacific Region and is based in the World Bank’s Singapore Office. He has more than thirty years of work experience in water infrastructure and services. His experience also covers other sectors such as urban, energy, environment, and private sector participation. He has been in the World Bank since 1993 and has extensive Bank operational experience having worked in three regions (Eastern Europe and Central Asia; South Asia; and East Asia and the Pacific).

Jie Tang, Practice Manager for the Energy and Extractive Global Practice of the World Bank, is in charge of the Bank’s energy programs covering 26 countries in East Asia and the Pacific Region. He joined the World Bank in 2001 as a Young Professional and has recently held the positions of Lead Energy Specialist, Program Leader for energy/transport/ICT, and Practice Manager.

Despoina Kouria is a Supplier Diversity and Sustainability analyst with Corporate Procurement at the World Bank Group (WBG), which she joined in 2020. She is part of the team that mainstreams sustainability considerations into over $1.7 Billion of annual purchases for the World Bank Group’s global offices and leads Corporate Procurement’s efforts in promoting and increasing the participation of women- and other diverse-owned businesses within WBG procurement processes and across its supply chain.

Swayamsiddha Mohanty is the Public Procurement Professional with more than 20 years of experience in various industries and sectors namely oil and gas, IT, manufacturing industries, FMCG, health, education, micro-finance, urban, transport, energy, MSME and Governance. She is currently working as Senior Procurement Specialist, Governance Global Practice, World Bank.

Karin Shepardson is an experienced Program Manager working in international development, with focus on Sustainable Development, Policy Analysis, Program Evaluation, Public-private Partnerships, and Environmental Policy and Sciences.
