YU recently established the Center for Research and Application of Satellite Remote Sensing to facilitate researches and practical uses of satellite remote sensing technologies at the field level. The initiative is being carried out based on a tripartite agreement with the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency and Yamaguchi Prefectural government.
