She has supported governments across Africa, Asia, and Central America to bridge their access gaps informed by geospatial data and analytics. She has led multiple national electricity access projects and capacity-building programs for client governments to inform the design of country roadmaps’ to scale up electricity access.

Maria Goravanchi is a Managing Director at the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation’s (DFC), formerly the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC). As DFC’s regional representative based in Bangkok, she is responsible for business development in the Lower Mekong, specifically Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam, and Thailand. Ms. Goravanchi brings over 15 years of private and public sector finance experience in underwriting, structuring and negotiating investments in emerging and frontier-market nations.

Sourajit Aiyer is finance and sustainability professional with 15 years of experience, with financial institutions such as Motilal Oswal Financial Services, UBS Investment Bank London and Evalueserve Research. He has worked with Grameen Impact Investment and UNEP’s Sustainable India Finance Facility.
