Xin Zhou

Xin Zhou is Leader of the Strategic and Quantitative Analysis Centre at the Institute for Global Environmental Strategies (IGES). She has more than 25 years of experience in the field of environmental policy analysis. She holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Studies. She is now leading a couple of research projects in the areas of Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) interlinkages analysis, climate policy assessment, integrated water resource management and green jobs assessment, etc.

It further underscored that the implementation of these measures requires more knowledge of what enables success in particular sectors and contexts, governance arrangements that facilitate coordination across different government agencies and non-state actors.

Eric Zusman

Eric Zusman is a senior policy researcher/area leader at the Institute for Global Environmental Studies (IGES) in Hayama, Japan. Dr. Zusman holds a bachelors degree in Mandarin Chinese from Rutgers University, a dual Masters Degree in public policy and Asian studies from the University of Texas at Austin and a Ph.D. in political science from the University of California, Los Angeles. For much of the past two decades he has conducted research on environmental issues in Asia.

Asia Leadership Program 2015: Executive Level Session

Asia's leaders talked about finance, transport, and the environment, among other concerns at the Asia Leadership Program.



The third annual program was held in Tokyo, Japan with Institute for Global Environmental Strategies as the partner organization. About 14 ministers, vice-ministers, and secretaries in the areas of transport and infrastructure, finance, environment and conservation, forestry, and executive planning participated in the executive level session of the program.
