VIDEO: DAY 3 Transforming Women's Lives through Infrastructure - Water

Day 3 (i) elaborate on gender inequalities linked to systemic and structural issues in the water sector; (ii) share gender design entry points that will lead to inclusive and sustainable policies and project outcomes in water supply and sanitation and water resources management; (iii) showcase ADB project examples that have brought or expected to bring transformative change in women’s lives; and (iv) provide an opportunity to put new knowledge into practice with interactive exercises in a virtual setting.

Cindy Bryson

Cindy provides social safeguards implementation support for ADB’s Pacific Department projects, including guidance on meaningful consultation and engagement with affected people, stakeholders and civil society organizations. Before joining ADB, Cindy worked for a variety of consultancy companies and international NGOs working on social and poverty alleviation research, impact assessments and resettlement planning. Cindy holds a PhD in Anthropology from the Australian National University.
