He also analyzed the role of human capital as an “engine of growth” which can explain the transition from a stagnant state of development to a regime of endogenous, self-sustaining per-capita income growth.

She obtained her doctoral degree from the Faculty of Economics and Administration, University of Malaya. She also graduated from University of Malaya with an MA degree in Applied Statistics in 2011 and a BA degree in Economics in 2009.
