Bernadia Irawati Tjandradewi

Dr. Bernadia is the first woman Secretary-General of UCLG’s regional section. She has been working in urban development and related fields for more than 15 years. Beginning her career at Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and afterward CITYNET in Yokohama, Dr. Bernadia is also a visiting professor at several universities in Japan and has written various papers. In 2015, she was appointed as a member of the Advisory Group on Gender Issues (AGGI) of UNHABITAT.

Kemen Austin

Kemen Austin Leads a research agenda evaluating the ecological, social, and economic impacts and tradeoffs of land-sector climate change mitigation policy scenarios at state, national, and global scales. She was previously a forest and climate research analyst in the People and Ecosystems Program of the World Resources Institute (WRI).

Xianfu Lu

Xianfu, ADB’s focal point for climate change adaptation, has worked on the science and policy of climate change adaptation for the past 20 years. Trained as an applied meteorologist, he spent the first 10 years of her career researching climate scenarios and their use in climate change impacts and vulnerability assessments in different parts of the world. Prior to joining ADB, Xianfu worked at UNDP’s Global Environmental Facility Unit and at the Secretariat of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.
