Since 2023, Dr. Sara Basart has been a scientific officer at the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) Global Atmosphere Watch (GAW) programme in charge of atmospheric composition and air quality modeling activities. Her main research interests range from the study of the variability induced by aerosols and reactive gases in observed changes in the atmosphere -and consequently in weather and climate-, to the assessment of their impacts in climate, ocean biogeochemistry, air quality, health and socio-economic sectors (such as energy or transportation).

Enrique “Miko” Cosep plays a key role in the development, implementation and review of Clean Air Asia projects. Miko is a licensed chemist, holding a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the University of the Philippines and a Master’s degree in Earth Sciences and Environmental Engineering from the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology. His previous work experiences revolved around environmental pollution studies, such as particulate matter research, ESG-based industry performance evaluation, pesticide and wastewater laboratory analysis, and healthcare waste management.
