Chris Malley joined SEI in September 2015 as a research associate focusing on the development of the Climate and Clean Air Coalition Supporting National Planning (CCAC SNAP) toolkit. The CCAC SNAP toolkit aims to demonstrate the socio-economic benefits achievable through national emission reductions of short-lived climate pollutants (SLCPs). Chris’s work involves the formulation of emission inventories, future scenarios, cost-benefit analysis, and training of toolkit users.

Dr. Jessica Slater is a researcher in the Pollution Management Research Group at IIASA. Her research focuses on different ways of mitigating air pollution and the multiple co-benefits which could result from such policies including climate change and sustainable development goals. Her research interests include quantifying the health impacts of various scenarios and pathways, including developing and improving methodologies in the GAINS model where there is limited available data, for example in cities in low- or middle-income countries where air pollution can be a major health burden.

Vanisa is currently the Deputy Director of Thailand’s Hub of Talents on Air Pollution and Climate (HTAPC). She is also an air Modeling Consultant working on the Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) model coupled with Chemistry for the assessment of PM2.5 Mitigation measures across Thailand. This assessment is a special project supported by the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) with grants to the Faculty of Public Health of Thammasat University to establish Thailand’s national specialist center on air pollution and climate.

Nathan is an experienced science and policy communicator and environmental attorney with a demonstrated history of working in the environmental services industry. His skill set includes environmental awareness, multilateral environmental agreement negotiations, international relations, international law, and policy analysis.

Since 2023, Dr. Sara Basart has been a scientific officer at the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) Global Atmosphere Watch (GAW) programme in charge of atmospheric composition and air quality modeling activities. Her main research interests range from the study of the variability induced by aerosols and reactive gases in observed changes in the atmosphere -and consequently in weather and climate-, to the assessment of their impacts in climate, ocean biogeochemistry, air quality, health and socio-economic sectors (such as energy or transportation).

Enrique “Miko” Cosep plays a key role in the development, implementation and review of Clean Air Asia projects. Miko is a licensed chemist, holding a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the University of the Philippines and a Master’s degree in Earth Sciences and Environmental Engineering from the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology. His previous work experiences revolved around environmental pollution studies, such as particulate matter research, ESG-based industry performance evaluation, pesticide and wastewater laboratory analysis, and healthcare waste management.
