7th Asia Pacific Public Electronic Procurement Network Conference (Virtual e-Government Procurement Conference 2021)

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) organized the 7th Annual Conference of the Asia Pacific Public Electronic Procurement Network (APPeN) on 17–19 November 2021 through a virtual platform. This year’s conference focused on Disruptive Technology Strategies for Strengthening e-GP during the Post-Pandemic Recovery Period.

Chitoshi Izumi

Chitoshi, a Senior Procurement Specialist under Procurement Department, Asian Development Bank, was outposted in Vietnam since September 2023, as Regional Procurement Head for Vietnam, Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar and Thailand.

He has been involved in overall management for procurement reform and development in the region, including MAPS, e-Procurement and Sustainable Procurement. He is also managing the conduction of capacity buildings on procurement issues to the government staff, contractor and consultant staff for their knowledge management and solutions.  

Khamphet Chanvongnaraz

Khamphet, a Senior Procurement Specialist, has been working with the World Bank Vientiane Office since 2009, to provide procurement support to World Bank-financed projects under the Lao portfolio. Before joining the World Bank, he worked for the MPWT for 20 years, at various levels including as a Project Manager for the ADB Sixth Road Improvement Project.

Sirirat Sirijaratwong

Sirirat, a Senior Procurement Specialist, has been working with the World Bank Bangkok Office for the past 30 years and is experienced in providing fiduciary support to World Bank-financed projects in Lao, Cambodia, Myanmar, Philippines, and Thailand. 

She had also been involved in conducting procurement assessments and capacity building for the project implementing agencies, including the Sustainable Public Procurement Reform in Lao.
