7th Asia Pacific Public Electronic Procurement Network Conference (Virtual e-Government Procurement Conference 2021)

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) organized the 7th Annual Conference of the Asia Pacific Public Electronic Procurement Network (APPeN) on 17–19 November 2021 through a virtual platform. This year’s conference focused on Disruptive Technology Strategies for Strengthening e-GP during the Post-Pandemic Recovery Period.

Thidaphone Temelath

Thidaphone is a Lao national who works as a Procurement Specialist based in the World Bank’s Vientiane office. She joined the World Bank in 2021 and has since been involved in public procurement reform under the Public Financial Management (PFM) Reform Program, while also providing operational support to World Bank–financed projects. Thidaphone holds a master’s degree in Economic Development from Kobe University, Japan. Prior to joining the Bank, she served as a Project Procurement Consultant in the National Implementing Unit at the Ministry of Industry and Commerce.
