Paul Winters

Paul Winters is the Keough-Hesburgh Professor of Global Affairs and Associate Dean for Academic Affairs in the University of Notre Dame’s Keough School of Global Affairs. His research and teaching focus on rural poverty, food insecurity and climate change and the evaluation of policies and programs designed to address these issues. Currently, he is the Executive Director of the Secretariat of the Innovation Commission for Climate Change, Food Security and Agriculture.

Emily Schmidt

Emily Schmidt is the Papua New Guinea Country Program Leader and Senior Research Fellow in the Development Strategies and Governance Unit of the International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI). Her research focuses on the dynamic process of rural land transformation, rural employment diversification, and agricultural production outcomes on household welfare. Her most recent research explores household livelihood strategies in Papua New Guinea, including linkages between agriculture, poverty, and nutrition outcomes among rural smallholder farmers.

Wanglin Ma

Wanglin Ma is an associate professor of Applied Economics. His expertise lies in agricultural economics and development economics. Through Wanglin's research, he strive to unravel the strategies and solutions that enhance farm economic performance, augment people's subjective well-being and household welfare, and foster sustainable rural and agricultural development.

Sanjeev Shrestha

Sanjeev Shrestha has more than two decades of experience in overall project designing, planning, implementation, and monitoring related to private sector promotion, value chain development, livelihood improvement, community development and natural resource management. He has supported strengthening the supply chains of more than 50 agribusinesses by brokering win-win business arrangements with 500 producer organisations in the agriculture value chain that have improved income, generated employment and increased their ability to respond to market demand.

Rajan Bajracharya

Rajan Bajracharya has a unique blend of engineering and management experiences. He has working experience of 20 years, mainly using digital technologies to address some of the societal benefit areas to solve environmental and livelihood challenges in the region by simplifying complex scientific methodologies and closing the gap between theory and practices. Rajan is the founder of GeoKrishi initiative, Managing Director of Pathway Technologies P. Ltd.
