Kiyoshi Taniguchi

Dr. Taniguchi is a principal economist overseeing Pakistan and Afghanistan economies in Pakistan. His past careers include an economist at Economic Research and Regional Cooperation Department, Private Sector Operations Department, Uzbekistan Resident Mission, and Pacific Department. His career includes a stint as an economist at the World Bank. He taught economics at the International University of Japan, Tashkent Westminster University, and the University of the Philippines Diliman. He received a Ph.D. in economics from the Ohio State University in 2001.

Anajali Adukia

Anjali Adukia is an assistant professor at the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy and College. In her work she is interested in understanding how to reduce inequalities such that children from disadvantaged backgrounds have equal opportunities to fully develop their potential. Her research is focused on understanding factors that motivate and shape behavior, attitudes and educational-decision making.
