We need to increase agricultural productivity while decreasing agricultural risks to be able to feed the projected 2 billion increase in the global population by 2030. Inundation mapping and analysis through earth observation can help achieve these twin goals. Earth observation can generate reports on flooding patterns and frequency which could enhance crop management and production.
