This International Skills Forum: Skills for Inclusive and Sustainable Growth in Developing Asia-Pacific aimed to take forward the discourse concerning skills development for employability and sustainable livelihoods. A number of low-income and middle-income countries currently implementing major technical and vocational skills development and training programs and reforms participated. Participants, including government representatives, institutional heads, researchers, business leaders, and private sector representatives, discussed effective policies and strategies that offer practical and timely solutions to skills development challenges in developing countries. This second forum built on the discussions and outcomes of the first forum in December 2011.
