Kota dan daerah sekitarnya menghadapi berbagai tantangan mendesak, namun sumber daya terbatas, terutama dalam hal dana pemerintah, yang dapat menghalangi permasalahan terselesaikan. Kota harus memperbaiki keefisienan pendapatan kota dan mendiversifikasi sumber keuangan agar dapat membiayai pembangunan kota. Melalui workshop tematik, Dana Perwalian Kota Pintar ASEAN Australia akan memperkenalkan konsep pengelolaan keuangan kota pintar (SCFM) dan kepentingannya, dan fokus pada tantangan dan kesempatan SCFM. Peserta workshop, terutama pejabat kota, akan belajar bagaimana membuat peta jalan untuk kebutuhan dasar dan memperbaiki pengelolaan keuangannya, termasuk menghasilkan pertumbuhan pendapatan yang lebih kuat.
