On 29 April 2026, 38 representatives from 10 Philippine executing and implementing agencies completed an in-person learning session on ADB’s anticorruption and integrity framework and its application throughout the ADB project cycle.

The session opened with Philippines Country Director Andrew Jeffries and OAI Head John Versantvoort calling for active engagement in the workshop and underscoring the value of each person’s contribution in building a culture of integrity in ADB‑supported projects. OAI facilitators guided participants through integrity foundations, integrity due diligence, red‑flag identification, and sanctions. The participants worked on case‑based exercises that examined indicators of integrity risks and potential violations, with focused discussions on project impacts and practical preventive measures.

Under RETA 10349’s Integrity Learning Series (ILS), OAI provides tailored training for DMC partners with oversight and project management responsibilities. This training is part of a series of capacity development initiatives for government partners in the Philippines.
