Green Roads Webinar Series
14 March 2024 to 30 May 2024
Green roads will foster beneficial land and water use, reduce pollution, support restorative and regenerative ecosystems and enhance safe and affordable mobility of people to deliver inclusive low-carbon, resilient development and environmentally considerate outcomes in Asia and the Pacific.
This webinar series will discuss the nature-positive benefits of green roads, highlighting its cross-cutting dimension on decarbonization, climate resilience, water management, biodiversity, disaster risk reduction, construction materials, and inclusive growth. The webinars are also anchored on the Green Roads Toolkit and Assessment Tool commissioned by ADB, being developed by MetaMeta and the International Roads Federation.
