Business Opportunities Seminar and Procurement Workshop
2 April 2026

United States

ADB’s North American Representative Office (NARO), in partnership with the Society for International Development – US (SID-US) and the Small Business Association for International Companies (SBAIC), organized on 2 April 2026 an in-person half-day workshop for US companies interested in business opportunities in ADB-financed contracts.

This was a unique opportunity for US companies to connect directly with senior ADB procurement experts, gain insights into doing business with ADB, learn about new procurement updates, and understand how firms can be more competitive.

Objectives
Why US Companies Should Work with the ADB?
  • Access to a Multi-Billion-Dollar Project Pipeline: ADB invests heavily across Asia and the Pacific, with an annual average lending pipeline of $30 billion, creating significant opportunities for US firms to participate in fast-growing emerging markets.
  • Transparent, Rules-Based Procurement: ADB’s procurement system is fair, open, and competitive—giving US companies a level playing field and reducing the risks often associated with entering emerging markets.
  • Strategic Entry Point to Asia and the Pacific: Working with the ADB helps US companies establish credibility, visibility, and relationships in one of the fastest-growing economies in the world.
