Series: ADB Data Room: Pakistan Resident Mission's Capacity Development Resource Center (PRM CDRC) ADB’s Procurement Training 18 to 19 November 2025 Islamabad, Pakistan CWRD Operations Coordination Unit, in collaboration with PRM’s Capacity Development Resource Center, delivered an interactive capacity building event funded by TA 9692-REG, focusing on the use of the merit point criteria (MPC) as a tool to support broad development outcomes. Galiya Ismakova, PFP Director, delivered opening remarks. The training was delivered by PPFD’s Principal Procurement Specialist, Bisma Husen, Senior Procurement Specialist, Jenny Yan Yee Chu, and Senior Procurement Officer, Mohsen I. Khan. Sessions focused on ADB’s project cycle, MPC implementation and development, bid evaluation, and sustainable procurement. PFP staff concluded the event with a “procurement clinic” Q&A session answering specific project-related queries and providing practical advice on procurement and contract management challenges.
