Bisma Husen

Principal Procurement Specialist, ADB

Mr. Bisma Husen is a Principal Procurement Specialist at the Asian Development Bank with over 20 years of experience in development procurement, including at ADB, the World Bank, and the Islamic Development Bank. He has worked across Asia, Africa, and the Pacific, including more than nine years supporting ADB's operations in India and Pakistan, helping deliver multi-billion-dollar country portfolios. 

He currently serves as ADB's Procurement Sector Lead for Transport, coordinating procurement support for the Bank's largest operational sector. Throughout his career, Bisma has helped governments and the private sector strengthen procurement systems and navigate ADB's Procurement Framework. In this program, he will share the latest procurement updates for 2026, emerging business opportunities, and practical insights for firms seeking to do business under ADB-financed projects.
