ADBI-WCTRS Webinar Two on High-Speed Rail: Transportation Services During Pandemics: Reforming Transport and Living Work Systems for Resiliency and Quality of Life

This webinar featured Prof. Yoshitsugu Hayashi of Chubu University (Japan) and Prof. Junyi Zhang of Hiroshima University (Japan). The speakers are spearheading the COVID-19 Task Force of WCTR Society and have shared their insights about the sustainability and resiliency of transport and living work systems considering pandemics. The webinar covered a wide range of issues that are pertinent to mobility and the spread of pandemics, and also illustrated the action plans, including evidence collection and evaluation of the effects of the during-pandemic measures. The speakers also provided key policy messages based on their findings of a world-wide questionnaire survey of experts and the related ongoing researches on effects of pandemics on transportation sector.
