Dil Rahut

Dil Rahut joined the Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI) as a Senior Research Fellow in January 2021 and was appointed Vice-Chair of Research in April 2022.

His research focuses on development microeconomics, agricultural economics, and environmental and natural resource economics. He is currently implementing experiments and field research in agriculture, natural resources, and climate in Asia.

K.E. Seetha Ram

He is concurrently visiting professor at the Center for Spatial Information Science, University of Tokyo, Japan, and a special advisor to East Japan Railways Company (JR East) for India High-Speed Rail. Between 2013-2017, Seetha acted as the focal point for ADB-wide knowledge management, working to spur innovative solutions to the varied development challenges in Asia.

Gates Foundation Revealed: How We Work, and How We Partner with ADB

Dr. Roshan Shrestha revealed how Gates Foundation has been working with ADB on transformative technologies like the citywide inclusive sanitation (CWIS) approaches in achieving sustainable changes in sanitation management. He also presented the CWIS framework like public service approach promotion and the different building blocks for CWIS at scale.

Luna Bharati

Dr. Luna Bharati is IWMI’s principal researcher for hydrology and water resources in Nepal. She has more than 14 years of post-PhD experience as a scientist and research program manager. The key areas of her interests and expertise are in integrated and sustainable water resources management. She has also worked extensively in assessing climate change risks and impacts as well as planning adaptation strategies from large river basins to small mountain watersheds.
