AASCTF project flyer: Providing a blueprint for developing a smart city vision and ICT platform for the EEC

This project flyer provides an overview of the City Visioning and Strategic Urban Data Platform Assessment Project, which aims to support Thailand's Eastern Economic Corridor Office (EECO) in developing a holistic vision for its New Livable Smart City near the province of Chonburi.

Tanya Huizer

As project manager, Tanya has led multi-disciplinary projects at Arcadis since 2011. In 2015-2016, Tanya was seconded as Liaison Officer Water to the Netherlands Embassy in Myanmar. Tanya has lived in Myanmar ever since, started an office for Arcadis in 2016, and led the team, water and environment business development, and a multitude of projects on water resources, flooding, and strategic planning in Myanmar and Viet Nam.

AASCTF Guided Learning Program Home Exercise Module 2

This home exercise, which was part of the AASCTF Guided Learning Program course provided an introduction to data governance in a city setting and how it can be applied in an organization, highlighting the challenges cities face in making accurate data available and maintaining it in a secure environment. It aimed at giving an understanding of the significance of data governance and security in smart cities; concepts and principles of data protection; and security and methods for meeting data protection and security requirements.
