Her work includes supporting the Laos government in designing the first competitive energy procurement, developing guidelines for conducting feasibility studies for RE projects and assessing the power sector vulnerabilities and the resilience action plan. Maythiwan also works with Thailand’s Office of Energy Regulatory Commission and U.S. experts on developing BESS technical standards in Thailand. Prior to joining Abt, Maythiwan was with Thailand’s Energy Policy and Planning Office (EPPO) for 5 years.
