Barbara McPake

Professor Barbara McPake joined the Nossal Institute in July 2014. She was Director of the Institute for International Health and Development at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh. Between 1991 and 2005, Barbara lectured in Health Economics at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She also served as Head of the Health Policy Unit and Director of the Knowledge Program on Health Systems Development, supported by the UK Department for International Development.

Jane Parry

Jane Parry is a health analyst and communications specialist. She has been a consultant with ADB since 2014, and has extensive experience working with multilateral development agencies, the UN system, and the private sector. She has multi-sectoral expertise, including social determinants of health (especially poverty), health and climate change, post COVID-19 recovery, public-private cooperation for development, innovation for development, economic and social equity. She works globally, with a focus on Asia and the Pacific.

2021 Resilience Learning Month

In celebration of Resilience Learning Month, ADB has organized a series of online events and capacity building workshops that will highlight regional and global innovation and lessons learned on tackling climate change and building climate and disaster resilience, delivered in partnership with ADB operations departments and sector and thematic groups.

Christian Ellermann

Mr. Ellermann has more than 13 years of professional work experience with focus on climate finance. He is ADB’s focal person for the Green Climate Fund and the Climate Investment Funds, and for managing the associated internal trust funds and teams. As part of the Climate Change and Disaster Risk Management Division, he leads on the topic of aligning ADB with the Paris Agreement.
