Anna Samwel

Coming from the Netherlands and now calling Georgia home, Anna is deeply committed to social and environmental justice. With a MSc in Biology and a Master's in Rural Development Studies, she works on the integration of gender issues into climate policies and actions. As the co-director of WECF Georgia, an ecofeminist international network she supports grassroots and national organizations to implement sustainable and just energy and climate solutions.

Shaila Sahid

Shaila Shahid, an environmental lawyer from Dhaka, Bangladesh, serves on the advisory board for Tomorrow's Cities, the Urban Disaster Risk Hub, tackling climate and disaster risks for the urban poor. She also advances gender inclusivity in climate action as a GenderCC - Women for Climate Justice board member. Her expertise extends to her role as Senior Advisor to the Pittachhara Forest & Biodiversity Conservation Initiative and her involvement with the National Alliance for Drowning Prevention (NADP).

Kanika Chakraborty

Kanika Chakraborty is the Specialist on Gender-based Violence for the Gender Equality Thematic Group at the Asian Development Bank (ADB) where she provides leadership for preventing Sexual Exploitation Abuse and Harassment (SEAH) and GBV ADB operations and knowledge work.
