Ms. Kawawaki is the Principal Director and Head Office of Markets Development and Public Private Partnership (OMDP) of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and assumed office in Jan 2022. The Office was established to enhance the role of ADB in supporting and enabling governments of its developing members to secure greater private investment and generate economic growth in the region. OMDP provides transaction and market development services to developing member clients for private sector development (PSD).

Shigeru Yamamura is a Principal Energy Specialist for the Energy Sector Office at ADB. He has worked on ADB’s energy sector operation in Asia and Pacific Region since 2009. He is currently the focal in charge of entire energy portfolio in the Philippines. Prior to joining ADB, he had worked for Japan Bank for International Cooperation for 15 years and led multiple infrastructure investments in Sub-Saharan Africa and Southeast Asia regions.

Levan Mtchedlishvili is a principal energy specialist at ADB. He is responsible for developing strategy and investment project pipelines in the energy sector in Central-West Asian countries, leading design, processing, and implementation of large energy infrastructure projects, and leading energy sector reforms and power utility corporate restructuring projects.
