He is responsible for validating GOSAT (Greenhouse gases Observing SATellite) and GOSAT-2 data. Using ground-based reference data such as TCCON, NDACC ground FTS, lidar, and sky radiometer data, he studies the quality of GOSAT, GOSAT-2, and GOSAT-GW (Global Observing SATellite for Greenhouse gases and Water cycle) data.
